The Brief

Firstly, we were tasked with a complete website redesign that included a much needed online booking system. You can read more about the website design and build here.

When the core elements like website, SEO and digital channels were setup or corrected, awareness for the brand needed to increase dramatically but with a budget that would be scaled and funded by the success of our work.

Natural wanted the buzz of a brand launch, local press pickup, growth of their own audience and new diners that would later become loyal customers.

Griff & Co would manage all marketing and creative for the client, acting as their very own marketing department. Operating all social media communications, campaigns and website maintenance while reporting and offering support to the business.

How We Did It

As part of the website design and build we rebranded what was then known as Natural Healthy Foods to Natural Bar & Kitchen. Based on our research, this more inclusive approach would drive the growth and longevity of the business.

Initially, we focused on organic social media activity, influencer marketing and localised PR. Our SEO work successfully directed prospects from search engines to the new website; which in turn began delivering new automated table bookings.

Press, blogger and influencer events were held to kickstart outreach and secure media coverage. With their permission we made use of the influencer created content on Natural’s own channels and website to grow the catalogue of visual content at our disposal without using the budget on photography and videography time.

As growth was achieved, Ad campaigns began on Facebook and Instagram. These social campaigns worked alongside remarketing techniques to really double down on what was working for the client. Our analytical reporting allowed us to quickly identify these successes while allowing us to identify and pause anything that wasn’t working for the client.

Successful table bookings were converted into repeat visits and positive online reviews, by way of personalised messaging across social and email marketing. New social audiences would see tailored messaging about the brand, the menus and USPs. The softened brand messaging and visuals appealed to a wider audience while the ongoing SEO work steadily increased the visibility of Natural Bar & Kitchen on Google and Bing.

Our work successfully drove the growth of the business through 2018.
